Definitive Audiophile pressings

Yep, I grabbed the Counting Crows and Norah's Not Too Late before the bump. I'm debating whether I want to complete the Norah group before 10/1 at this point. Little Broken Hearts is apparently just not good with anything so it's a tougher call on a completionist level.

Not sure if it’s still on Netflix, but “What Happened Miss Simone?” is a phenomenal documentary.

I backordered some titles since they don't charge until they ship but i feel like that's a dangerous game so i had to reel it in a bit.
 
The AP 33 of Second Helping truly sounds amazing. Kevin Gray magic. I can only imagine how incredible the 45 sounds with that wider soundstage.

EDIT: I see that it's still backordered. Do you think AP will honor the current price even if it becomes available only after the prices have gone up?

Actually, I suppose I should listen to the version of Surf's Up on the new 2LP Feel Flows I received recently before springing for the AP pressing. Man, I can't keep up with myself!

they have honored prices in the past. it would be pretty crappy of them to not honor the preorder price and pretty sure it would be illegal to just charge my card more money. i don't know if there's any "official" policy about it.

i remember someone here had the Blue Train AP backordered and locked it in for $35 and AP added more copies for $50 or so and they honored the old preorder price.

Great picks! I've seen quite a lot of people already receiving their Eagles one steps but not sure if they were from MoFi directly or MD. Hope you enjoy them!

Yeah, I just looked it up on Discogs and realized that haha - guess it was old news! Anyway, glad to hear the good reception so far. I love those One Steps. The Paul Simon one was not one of my favorite PS albums but really made me fall in love with that album. Used to listen to the Eagles a lot when I was younger and haven’t really revisited in a while, so can’t wait to hear these albums on these. I know they’re cliche but it’s still pretty good music haha

But hate to see how much the Eagles ones already selling for on eBay…

crazy how people try to get away with selling MoFi stuff that's still in stock. the other thing I've seen a lot on facebook MoFi groups is "raffles" where a guy sells 50 tickets at $10 a piece to win an Eagles One Step.

That's pretty clever.

My copy of the Eagles S/T one-step shipped yesterday from MD. Nothing is quite like hearing those one-steps for the first time.
