Pretty sure you'll be charged separately for shipping on those backorders. I tried that same thing last night and when I hovered over the blue price-tag associated with the backordered item, this is what popped up:

We shall see. I don’t remember seeing that blue tag, but I also didn’t really pay that close attention. Did you end up ordering?

Yeah, I wouldn't have seen it if I wasn't searching for some indication of whether or not shipping would be covered.

I haven't placed the order yet, but I did decide that if I do, I won't include the backordered item because there's not much to be gained by doing so if I'll have to pay for shipping if/when it is in stock.

i'd have to go back and check on charges from AS but I don't know that they charged me shipping for every separate item in a backordered group. i could have just missed it though...

Since I spent the last two pages slagging various artists who likely only in some cases deserved it. I feel it's only fair to mention here that a 17 year old Mather saw Spin Doctors live at the Kingswood Music Theatre at Canada's Wonderland.
It was a date.
