Should have specified but yea. Outside of the crazy priced OOP MoFi, no audiophile version of BB. I mean, Van Halen is pretty outside of their normal one step curation. They will press all the Dylan and Miles they can. And I missed quite a few so I’m fine with them releasing some as Supervinyl or One Steps. We all agree they need some new blood in there though.

It both is and isn’t though. Maybe more so in one step but in terms of their general curation? It’s about as safe as you can go with early 80s rock without Bon Jovi-ing up the joint.

Well we are at €70 delivered for the usual 45RPM MoFi. That’s $80 for something you pay $60 for so it’s probably going to be similar for the “super vinyl” 33RPM

Still “safe” for sure. But they haven’t done a ton of 80s in general as of late. Baby steps! Also kinda don’t blame them for going safe for the one steps. With how many they press and the price point, they don’t want to be sitting on stock of these.

They could easily dive head first into some classic 80s titles and knock it out of the park with a real home run title like this one. No need to play prevent defense if ya know what I mean 😉
