Definitive Audiophile pressings

I was at my local for the first time since the pandemic and had this one in my hand. Then I looked at the six records I had in my other hand and decided to put it back. If it's there the next time I'm grabbing it.

There was a RSD pressing of it last year which is actually cheaper and by all accounts sounds fantastic as well. But I'm not sure if it's the same master, I doubt it.

I think in general it was well recieved, although I do think it was a GZ press... I think...

I had some Amz credit to use up from a crappy Coltrane Giant Steps reissue I returned so I'm hoping the back order on this is fulfilled in June.

My AS Out Of The Cool backorder shipped today. So seems like Amz is fulfilling backorders now or it was shipped from AS.

Yeah, I contend if Kiss just released one LP with the best tracks off of all 4 of the solo albums it would have been one of their best studio albums.

Humm... makes you wonder why they don't just do that? Nothing should stop them. I mean, they're not usually opposed to more merchandise for sale.

I have that one. It's... good? A little bit of pops and clicks but I'm happy with it. I'd wager the Pure Pleasure is better.

Looks like they did an even split of 3 tracks each. I probably would done 5 or 6 Ace tracks, 4 or 5 Paul tracks then 1 or 2 Gene and 1 or 2 Criss.

Mentioning Sorcerer is having me give a listen to my VMP copy, which I haven't in a while. Pretty nice. I think this is actually what stopped me from getting the MOFI back when it was in stock. I figured why drop 50 on an album that I already have and enjoy
