i get not citing certain sites, but an ei vote over 'album', especially since it is, you know, an album? nor not giving the person more than 9 hours to make the change back themselves? c'mon guys, where's the common sense here?

Yeah, the voting system is a mess. It doesn't help anyone that makes a mistake. It really discourages anyone from contributing after votes like that.

I'm trying to share a link for a folder that contains a small subset of my overall collection. When I go to that folder in my discogs account and copy the URL, then paste that URL into my browser's address bar, it takes me to the folder. But if I log out of discogs and do the same with the URL, it takes me to my entire collection. And the person I'm trying to share this folder with says the link doesn't work for him. Anything I'm missing? My settings should allow for sharing.

there is an ongoing and pretty lengthy forum discussion about the issue. the person opted to be stubborn and disregard everyone. not the first time it happened, either.

i don't think you can do this. being logged in or not seems to be the lone determinant on how your collection can be viewed.

You're probably better off making a list. I don't think another user can have access to see specific folders of your collection.

Has anyone figured out how to keep the Discogs app from automatically logging out on a daily basis? I'm growing tired of entering my sign in credentials, then the captcha, then the one time pin, every single day.

I haven’t had to log in since we first saw the dumb captcha the other day.
