Honestly, the before wasn't bad... But I didn't really figure out how to get a good close up picture until after. Here's the best before I got... I clean religiously with a carbon brush so aside from a few stubborn dust fibres it wasn't bad...

Tbh I just dunno how to do blu tack, I don't think I have any blutack, I don't trust myself with it, is rather have something else because I literally know so little about it I had no idea what it even looked like
I feel confused now.. I just wanna know what to do since I don't wanna do the cheap blu tack even though this big guy who makes cartridges you like uses it

Oh ok! Doesn’t that damage the wall and the poster when you take it down? Maybe that’s less of a problem when you’re not a nomad like me moving house pretty much yearly throughout your 20s!

In France it’s yellow and is called Patafix. But it leaves stains on the wallpaper after you remove it...

I know, I think it's a combination of the 1000x zoom combined with the low res image that makes everything very grainy and kinda, natural vs machine made looking...

It's a blue putty. You take a little ball of it, flatten it on your platter, then cue the cartridge onto it a couple of times. It's the same principle as the ZeroDust, but disposable.

Unless @RichGrado or someone at ortofon tells me don't do it at all and get a brush and MAYBE a liquid

Interesting to hear about the Grado/Zerodust discussion. I used one for years on both my old Grado blue and 8mz and never noticed any issues. Still using one now on my Ultratracker as well with no noticeable issues. Obviously the good people at Grado know way better than I do, but thought I would share my experience.

You really don't have to get a ZeroDust if you're using Blutac. It does the same job.
