I'm sure Grado has repaired enough bent and broken cantilever's, and stylus over the years to have reason not recommend using a Zerodust. The Onzow is just a tacky surface, not a solvent, so I’m unclear on why it has this reputation. The only way I can see it damaging a cartridge is if the platter spins underneath the cart, and, like...don’t do that?
That said, I only use mine occasionally, when the stylus has visible guff on it. If I were an every-record kinda guy I would consider something a little more delicate.
People will spend $50+ on a new or old pressing, but balk at $35-200+ on a record cleaning machine and fluid. hmmmm
