Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

Anybody have recommendations for a set of passive speakers that can fill a tall (albeit small) room for around $500?
Klipsch RP600M perhaps? Can’t remember the price point on those or if they’re passive but I’ve heard good things
I’ve heard good things about the RP600Ms! Not neutral, but very efficient and lively, in the Klipsch way. Plus you may be able to find them at a discount if you look around.

(they are indeed passive)

Here’s an open-box pair shipping from my local AV shop: Klipsch RP-600M Bookshelf Speaker -Walnut (Pair) **Open Box*** | eBay

That’d be a great entrance for me since I am currently using some powered klipsch bookshelf speakers and the whole reason I’m wanting new ones is because I think it’s finally time for an amp and I don’t think I can make these speakers passive… unless of course it would be as simply as unplugging them 😂

If you already like the Klipsch sound I think the RP600Ms are a great choice.

some say they were designed more for classical by the chief, and have lack of deep bass. The old gentlemen I bought one of my McIntosh from had vintage ones and they were beautiful and sounded wonderful on Sinatra and Billie Holiday.
Yeah, they don’t reach deep but what’s there sounds amazing. You could pair them with subwoofers and have a hell of a full range.

A question for the group: Anyone have experience with balanced out "Y" adapters? My Freya+ only has one balanced output which I use currently to run into my Aegirs. I would also like to be able to run balanced cables to my headphone amp. Would the "Y" adapter be a good solution and any brand recommendations for a reasonable set?

When it comes to selling speakers. What's the consensus on the beat way to go about it? I can't ship these things? Do I attempt to sell to a store? Do Audiomart listing? Thoughts?
