Is it a big and heavy amp or is light and compact? I can't really tell by pictures on the webAt least in my set up, it seems like there is synergy.

Same, but in Daegu hereI spent a lot of Saturday nights at this place in Seoul when I lived there: Suzie Q: The greatest bar in Hongdae (not my blog)
They order 80% of large Mc amps I was told. Accuphase is also very popular.Yes absolutely, that is why I like Marantz, Rotel, Technics etc.
Haha! I hadn't even noticed the speaker when I was first studying that photo! Any idea what turntables they're using? They order 80% of large Mc amps I was told. Accuphase is also very popular.
Those large JBL monitors are custom made by these guys: ケンリックサウンド(KENRICK SOUND) - JBLスピーカー 43XXシリーズ 大型 中古ヴィンテージ専門店
The drivers are built to spec for them by JBL Northridge.
It's relatively light. Maybe 15-20 lbs? It is pretty compact. Is it a big and heavy amp or is light and compact? I can't really tell by pictures on the web
I did a bit of research on the web and it turns out you're correct. The LEAK Stereo 130 is an audiolab 6000a in disguise They share identical components, same DAC etc. The only difference, albeit a minimal one, is the power output, 45WPC vs. 50WPC. As for the QUAD it is apparently a lot warmer sounding and a tad more powerful at 65WPC.With them all being divisions of IAG it really wouldn’t surprise me if it, the audiolab 6000 and the Vena were all essentially the same base unit with the differences being down to how each one chose to voice the unit! They all review really well too so none of them seems like a bad idea!
those are vintage concentric Tannoy Westminster's speakers I believeHaha! I hadn't even noticed the speaker when I was first studying that photo! Any idea what turntables they're using?
Now that's a kind of crazy I could cozy up to.those are concentric Tannoys Westminster's I believe
The Tables looks like broadcast Gerrard's
I was actually referencing the the Large JBL's here

When choosing a stereo amp, what specifications or factor is most important to you? Power output, sound quality or features
One last question, how's the built-in phono stage or do you use an external phono preamp instead and if so which one? It's relatively light. Maybe 15-20 lbs? It is pretty compact.
A lot lighter and more compact than my old Onkyo
I use a Sutherland Insight. One last question, how's the built-in phono stage or do you use an external phono preamp instead and if so which one?
Really? That's surprising. I love the look of the Leak but got a 6000A on CAM for about half the total cost of a new Stereo 130. I figured there must have been some differences.I did a bit of research on the web and it turns out you're correct. I saw somewhere where that was debunked and it actually has more in common with the Quad. But they definitely are similar and I'm willing to bet the differences aren't huge.Really? That's surprising.
