Is it a big and heavy amp or is light and compact? I can't really tell by pictures on the web 🌐

302mm x 118mm x 270mm (Metal)
326mm x 146mm x 276mm (Wood)

7.02kg (Silver)
8.30kg (Walnut)

Seems about 2/3 width of the usual 450mm/17”:component and about on par weight wise for the type of amp is, not too heavy but not light either.

With them all being divisions of IAG it really wouldn’t surprise me if it, the audiolab 6000 and the Vena were all essentially the same base unit with the differences being down to how each one chose to voice the unit! They all review really well too so none of them seems like a bad idea!
I did a bit of research on the web and it turns out you're correct. The LEAK Stereo 130 is an audiolab 6000a in disguise 🥸 They share identical components, same DAC etc. The only difference, albeit a minimal one, is the power output, 45WPC vs. 50WPC. As for the QUAD it is apparently a lot warmer sounding and a tad more powerful at 65WPC.

Haha! I hadn't even noticed the speaker when I was first studying that photo! Any idea what turntables they're using?
those are vintage concentric Tannoy Westminster's speakers I believe
The Tables looks like broadcast models, maybe EMI ?

I was actually referencing the Large JBL's here

o_O Now that's a kind of crazy I could cozy up to.

Really? That's surprising. I love the look of the Leak but got a 6000A on CAM for about half the total cost of a new Stereo 130. I figured there must have been some differences.

I saw somewhere where that was debunked and it actually has more in common with the Quad. But they definitely are similar and I'm willing to bet the differences aren't huge.

Having a quick look at the pricing and it’s the next audiolab, 8300, that’s more equivalent price wise. Not that it necessarily means anything and it did come out all the way back in 2015.

“Research”

Curious if anyone has a set up across two rooms or upstairs/downstairs.

I know amps back in the day had the option to run a speaker set A or a speaker set B (or A+B). Does anyone have centralized record player but have multiple sets of speakers or is it just more convenient to have a second turntable/amp and a decoupled system.
