Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

Oh right so a solicitor is half of what you might think of as a lawyer.

We have the older split system like they have in the uk.

A solicitor deals with clients and contracts and money and conveyancing and the like. They also are directly hired by clients and so “solicit” for business, as such.

The other half, which I am, are barristers. Barristers are advocates in court and discrete legal specialists who will often be sought by solicitors to write legal opinions on less common or more complex situations. We are barred from being directly hired by clients or having any contact with their money. We are hired and paid by solicitors on their clients behalf.

That’s the only way we use that word over here? What is a solicitor to you?
And if one is charged with soliciting it is usually in a situation of sex for money.

Now, honest question. I have the IsoAcoustics pucks. The little red 6 lb ones. I'm trying to decide if I replace the feet on the Halo with these, or if what's on there might actually be better.

I'm also will to accept "shut up" as a valid answer.

I'd run it stock for a while, let your ears get used to the sound "As Is", then a month or so down the line swap them out and see what you think. ;)

I've never seen a convincing case that isolation feet can make a difference for solid state gear, but I also think aesthetics is an acceptable reason to make a lot of decisions, so.

I think the return on investment on things like isolation, dampers and the such goes hand in hand with the gear and where it falls on the "good gear" spectrum, meaning, in my opinion, gear that sits more at the entry level part of the spectrum will probably show more of an impact to the upgrade of choice, while gear at the higher end of the spectrum may show some benefit, but I think it has a good chance of falling into the placebo effect and or aesthetics as you mentioned ;)
