I think the return on investment on things like isolation, dampers and the such goes hand in hand with the gear and where it falls on the "good gear" spectrum, meaning, in my opinion, gear that sits more at the entry level part of the spectrum will probably show more of an impact to the upgrade of choice, while gear at the higher end of the spectrum may show some benefit, but I think it has a good chance of falling into the placebo effect and or aesthetics as you mentioned
It also depends massively on your environment and where I’d agree with @kvetcha is that in an environment where isolation is necessary I still don’t really see an argument to adding it to solid state amplifiers. Uniformity and symmetry apart. Particularly when compared with sources, speakers and tube gear.
