Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

Okay so yes. I'm sure it will likely do nothing really seeing as this is solid state BUT I had the platter lying around and it was either this or throw it in storage sooooo... ISOFEET FOR EVERYTHING ISOFEET FOR EVERYTHING LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
Solid state designs are affected by vibrations, same as tube gear. Just not to the same degree. Reduction of vibrations is always a good thing for your equipment and the better the system the larger the noticeable improvements. I approve of your move here @Mather and that's a nice piece of gear. (y)

Ooo, well if anyone has the dough, this seems like an LE for a steep discount! No idea about this store though

How are you liking it @Lee Newman

EDIT: This isn't LE, just realized the difference is that the LE has real wood. Disregard.
I love it. You have to understand that I was coming from an all in one Sony that I had tricked out. It has added a nice stage to my Music and is super transparent and detailed. It has more power than I know what to do with. I’ve been listening to just random music and enjoying everything more than I have.

The only thing I dislike about it is it takes like 20 seconds after turning on to be ready to play music. But the vu meters glow this cool red while you are waiting.

The vinyl wrap is pretty nice. It has some texture on it to make it look more like wood.

Would it be too much trouble to get a closer look at the vinyl wrap? I've seen some pictures of the LE that looked a bit rough even with the real wood...

I posted this of a friend's a while back. It's not too close but not sure if you saw it then. This is the wrap.
I did. I was more so saying get me reaaaaaallll close. Like give me the top down view. I saw a used LE model for sale on ebay and the grain pattern looked like trash. So really, if the base model looks sleek and sexy it's as good as sold for me.

Thanks for the feedback @Lee Newman and thanks for sharing the pic @Mather

Really interested by this, but wondering if I should find a silver amp since my Sutherland is Silver. That being said, my UD is black so having silver components feels inconsistent. Obviously a silly and minor hang up but I def think about it haha

I think Sutherland sold black faceplates to some of the people on here…

Last I looked, ain’t no one got them in stock anyhow. I’ll get you a close shot when we get back home. The grain looks nice. The only slight set back is the texture is in a recurring pattern so if you look reeeeeaaaallll close it ruins the effect.

One left in Germany for someone European 👀

Asking this for a friend. He's looking for a receiver/Amplifier, ideally with connections for both a home theater setup and for turntable/analog use, and with a cassette deck connection as well. Obviously the home theater desire would nescesitate a digital receiver, but he's wondering if theres something out there with a seperate analog chain for the audio stuff, and a digital one for home theater use. I didn't know of one so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks everyone

SafeandSound had an LE for a few weeks a little while ago at $2499. I’m pretty sure I’ll go for the standard with the Dirac option and then I can have an entire second setup for the basement.

I mean the 3050 is a class d, but it has audio and digital set ups. Only digital stuff is gonna feed through the dac. It even has an hdmi input. That’s the way most integrateds are.
If he wants pure analog for audio and pure digital for video I don’t know if anything.
