Look, You don’t rock your leg day listening to Ted Nugent. Is this like how Paul Ryan’s favorite band is Rage Against The Machine?
And he is 100% human!Ted Cruz is also Canadian.
OH SHIT!!! I Thought you were kidding. Also he looks awful for only being three years older than me.Ted Cruz is also Canadian.
Yeah we can’t hold it against em though. Canada has given the world lots of awesome stuff too.OH SHIT!!! I Thought you were kidding. Also he looks awful for only being three years older than me.
And definitely NOT the Zodiac Killer…And he is 100% human!
And definitely NOT the Zodiac Killer…
Wait a sec. Ted Cruz is a Canadian serial killer who enjoy Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy…
Has anybody ever see @Mather and Ted Cruz in the same place at the same time?
Oh shit. @nightmather takes on a whole new dimension then.Who we think we know as @Mather might just be another one of Cancun Ted's victims.
This is what I would expect Mr. Cruz to say!I'm fine with "Mather has a murder dungeon". But I am putting an immediate unequivocal stop to "Mather is Ted Cruz".

I prefer Rye usually but a Canadian Club old fashioned is a sweet change of pace.Sorry, but I can’t agree on Crown Royal. I love Canada, beautiful country, great people, who have a wonderful sense of humor. But they can’t make whisky worth a damn.
There’s some good whiskey up there, but they tend to keep it to themselves.Sorry, but I can’t agree on Crown Royal. I love Canada, beautiful country, great people, who have a wonderful sense of humor. But they can’t make whisky worth a damn.
Both are worth considering. The review is a bit odd because I don’t find the Quintet Black S bright at all. I don’t like bright cartridges and I like the Quintet Black S very much. I could be happy just buying it over and over when it wears out.Re: a cart upgrade on the SME 3012 II tonearm on my Garrard 401, at least for the moment I've narrowed my choices to the Hana SL or Ortofon Quintet Black S. I'm taking @HiFi Guy's word that compliance isn't a problem (I honestly need to learn how to figure this out for myself), and apart from one of the SPUs, which are quite pricey and seem to me a bit too much of a niche direction, the SL and Quintet Black S seem like my most reasonable choices. (Replacing a Denon D103R). Any further input? I can't foresee having an opportunity to try both (short of buying both, which I'm not about to do), so that leaves me susceptible to opinion! Which I welcome.
I found this article by Michael Fremer useful. At the very least it reinforces the idea that both these carts are worth considering.
The Hana SL MC ($750) Versus The Ortofon Quintet Black S MC ($999)
(The accidental channel reversal on one file has been fixed). Here are two great, "reasonably" priced, superbly built cartridges that I've chosen to review together while giving you the opportunity to "hear" both! Let's start with the less expensive ($750) Hana SL manufactured by Excel Sound...www.analogplanet.com
The gentleman doth protest too much, methinksI'm fine with "Mather has a murder dungeon". But I am putting an immediate unequivocal stop to "Mather is Ted Cruz".
Good info, as usual! Leaning toward the Ortofon. Both are worth considering. The review is a bit odd because I don’t find the Quintet Black S bright at all. I don’t like bright cartridges and I like the Quintet Black S very much. I could be happy just buying it over and over when it wears out.
The Quintet S is now $1095. I don’t know if I’d be looking at the Hana SL I’d be comparing to the ML at $1200. But you are still getting an aluminum cantilever on the Hana vs sapphire on the Ortofon. Both are equally easy to set up, so there’s no advantage either way.View attachment 178006
The Ortofon does track better and has tighter balance between channels.Good info, as usual! Leaning toward the Ortofon.
