You would be very happy with that Rega Naia.I would sell my soul for even one component out of that bottom Nagra system. I think that setup is just stunning.
Geezus, what is that? A million dollars worth of Nagra gearView attachment 224434View attachment 224435View attachment 224436View attachment 224437View attachment 224438View attachment 224439
God
Damn
American Sound of Canada is the wildest store I've ever been in.
Your system is easily good enough to tell you the Rega is vastly superior.View attachment 224470
I'm very happy with my VPI Classic Signature thank you very much good sir!
I get that it’s a great table, but I hate the way it looks.Your system is easily good enough to tell you the Rega is vastly superior.

Nope. Actually I don’t really like any rega. You don't like the skeletal regas?
Interesting...

How much time do you spend staring at your’ table when listening?I get that it’s a great table, but I hate the way it looks.
I already feel like the orbit is the ugliest thing in my set up. I’ve mentioned it before but aesthetics has been a factor in my upgrade path. The orbit is fine but kind of plain Jane. And I actually do stare at it a bit.How much time do you spend staring at your’ table when listening?Anyway, if sound quality is most important to you, as it is with me, the Rega’s looks shouldn’t be a negative feature. The P8, P10 and NAIA are not your grandfather’s Rega and sound as good as much more expensive ‘tables and can be considered bargains for what they do.
Did you price everything? Because a lot of super high end dealers have all the electrical done with 20 amp individual lines to EVERY outlet in show rooms. And double thickness, double layer drywall. And breaker box transformers that are the size of a basketball for the flagship rooms. Very well could be $1M room. That's not quite a million dollars...

This one is though.
I listened to Tool "Chocolate Chip Trip"
It was... Bzonkers.
The Nagra wasn't, I think the electronics were about $200,000, can't remember the speakers but they were smaller, I think maybe Harbeth. Those Nagras are each $24,000 CAD. They were actually at a second store, everything else was one store and they had NUMEROUS million dollar systems. Honestly the best speakers I heard were these powered Zeros (the white slab), just holographic with so much punch. Unreal...Did you price everything? Also, the Naia is nearly THREE times the price of the Classic Signature so honestly it SHOULD be vastly superior.Your system is easily good enough to tell you the Rega is vastly superior.
