Everything Video Games!

I really loved Subnautica. Need to play Abzu, Thumper and Rez.
Echoing other recommendations for Abzu, fantastic game, as is everything Giant Squid does. Thumper is a wild rhythm game that I found to be pretty challenging. I played the demo for Rez a while back and it seemed really fun. Rez and Moss are the ones I'm looking forward to most, as I've played everything else except Paper Beast. It also looks fun, but this promotion is the first I heard of it, the other two I've been meaning to pick up for a while.

Also, for anyone who likes Roguelikes and bullet hells, Enter the Gungeon is a fantastic game. I played for over 100 hours and only got one "win." That being said, I didn't get frustrated at it, I recognized it was my own lack of skill there and not the game being unfair.

Anyone here play Vermintide II on Steam? Wanna pretend that grimoires and tomes are NM/NM grails and go collect them? Wanna be my drengberazi and slay raki scum?

Don't know what any of that means? Then I'll assume you're a Skaven sympathizer.

I forgot Monster Hunter is a lot to get used to, especially in the beginning when every single little mechanic is introduced. Getting used to the chunky combat is tricky as well; there's definitely a need for patience of a different sort than, say, a Dark Souls. Smacking stuff with a hammer sure is fun though.

yeah, I hadn't put time into a Monster Hunter game for a few years so I came into Rise pretty rusty but I am definitely feeling far more comfortable after playing a couple of days. thankfully they seemed to have removed some of the gameplay clunkiness in that there seem to be far fewer fetch quests and the ones it has are so much quicker with being able to ride the dog and using the wirebug and only needing to grab a resource once rather than over and over until it's depleted.

20210329_151314.jpgSuperChexx upgrade. Installed my Leafs vs Habs players today. It looks so much better than the generic pale white unpainted players... Now... if everyone could please get their vaccines so I have someone to play with that would be greeeeeaaaaaat yeaaaahhhh...

Yeah that's what I love about what I've seen from it. I miss those old point and click games with snappy writing. And damn is it nice to look at.
The art design is incredible. Even stuff like the ability artwork just looks totally unique.

I’ve been waiting for DE since it came out as I too don’t have a gaming PC. Just waiting now to see if the font is readable from the couch as that’s my only concern.

I should clarify - all internal and external dialogue is voiced, but there is still some text that is not, so it's sensible to see whether it's a manageable size on your setup.
