Everything Video Games!

Game Pass is $14.99 a month and I’ve heard that Xbox did away with the $1 for the first month promotion just in time for Starfield.

I wish they offered a discounted annual sub.

New subs can still get 1 month free if paying in advance for the year (it's buried in the checkout process).

We just booted up our new (refurbed) Series S this past week. Couldn't find any promos at first, so I opted for a discounted 3-month code via Amazon. Noticed the 1 month free offer while activating.

you can often find places online that sell Game Pass codes cheaper than directly from Microsoft

it can be a little tricky, but I've used this place before with complete success

(for the record I'm kidding I will be playing tomorrow at 8 pm and not stopping until i pass out, but imagine dragons are still fucking terrible)

I have Thursday and Friday off and my wife is taking to dogs to the cottage. Starfield comes out in early access at 8 pm Thursday night. I am not leaving my basement until I have to be at work on Saturday.

This will be me, too - I'm scheduled to work Thursday night - but I have a feeling I may be coming down with something. Starfield-itis...it's a legit condition.

I won't have to work until Monday night.

I've really ignored EVERYTHING about the game - so I'm really going in blind.

Yep I'm off till Saturday evening, it's gunna get ugly.
And yeah that's the best way to do it. I know some stuff but it's mostly just mechanics, not really story things. It should be a blast, definitely looks more polished than prior Bethesda fare.

Here’s the breakdown of the price increases:

PS Plus Essential
Old Yearly Price: $60
New Yearly Price: $80
PS Plus Extra
Old Yearly Price: $100
New Yearly Price: $135
PS Plus Premium
Old Yearly Price: $120
New Yearly Price: $160

saw this today. Dont understand the rationale here considering you don’t get exclusives day and date. My personal biggest desire for PS+ is the cloud saves, but thinking I’ll forego renewing.

I think the Jim Ryan era of PlayStation is going to be a stain on the brand when all is said and done.

Yikes. Topped off another year of Extra and might add another next payday.

35% increase is no joke. Our HoA did the same this year, first a 25% increase and now an extra month's assessment putting us at 35% over last year's budget.
