Everything Video Games!

I hit credits on the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk. Very, very good. CDPR really put in the work to develop a meaty plot line with nuanced dilemmas — no decision black/white only gray and complicated. I think I spent 25–30 hours devoted almost entirely to the DLC content with plenty of optional stuff left. Now, I have to decide how I want to approach my second encounter with Arasaka, though I've got plenty of game left to do before pursuing that closure. So glad this game turned things around in the end. Top tier gaming.

I've had a PS5 sitting in the closet for about a month now (for my son/the whole family for Christmas). To get ready I've created a Sony account and added some of the free games (like Fortnite, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals) that I know he wants. Is there anything else I should do before unwrapping to prepare?

I would consider unwrapping it and doing all the updates to the machine and the controllers and install the games. That will take quite some time depending on your internet connection.

Other thank that, I can't think of anything! Enjoy!

Just cot around to watching the Cinematic Reveal trailer for The Witcher IV. I can't wait for this game to come put. Do we have any thoughts on when it might come out?

Googling it I have found no confirmed release date, but a lot of article speculate a time range of 2026 through 2029. So I guess, no time soon.

Pretty sure CDPR are going to tread cautiously with release info after lessons learned from their Cyberpunk 2077 release.

So 2077 probably?

Speaking of the Witcher.

I have The Witcher III for the Switch. It includes all the expansions. I have yet to play through the whole thing and want to start over. I'm wondering if I should get it for the PlayStation this time around. And so they sell a complete edition, or do I need to buy each expansion separately like the last time I looked a couple years ago?
