Day 15 - If only

My thought process was to only consider performers who were active during the time when I was actually alive and going to concerts. I’ve done a pretty good job of seeing the majority of my favorite active bands/acts, so here’s one I missed on that’s a legit regret. Pharoah still did a couple shows a year pre-Covid, but I’m guessing the window is shut now.

Chuck Berry - Chuck Berry’s Golden Hits

When I moved to St Louis several years ago, I made a vow to see Chuck Berry play before I left. He was playing Blueberry Hill every month so I just figured I’d go see him when it was most convenient. Silly me, he ended up playing his last show about a year after I arrived and he died a couple years after that.

D Boon played his last show on this earth an hour down the road from me. And I wasn't there...

Thanks for everything D.

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool

I've wanted to see Radiohead for over 20 years now, but every time I've tried either the tickets sold out too fast or things would happen like my bank thinking it was a fraudulent charge and locking my account, and the by the time I fixed it, it was sold out...

Tues 16 – Trio
Spin your fave album by a trio.

I found that I don't have that many vinyl records of bands with 3 members. Though I know some great trio bands whose work I got on CD.

Chvrches are a great synth pop band from Glasgow, Scotland and their album "Love is dead" is amazing. It also included a photograph signed by the band.

I kind of went with @D Jilla 's thinking; an artist I have had a chance to see over the years, but for some reason didn't. I've been fortunate enough to see most of my favorite bands and artists over the years, but for some reason never went to see Pink Floyd, or Floyd minus Waters, or Waters minus Floyd.

I'd say @Turbo 's answer is up there for me as a top choice too, I never went to see Prince and SO wish I would have.

This copy skips, my copy of The Wall is not great either and I don't even spin my copy of Dark Side because it's almost unplayable. I could use a Pink Floyd boxset that contains remastered versions of their 70s albums. Like, Meddle through The Wall.

Tom Petty - Damn The Torpedoes

This one stings a bit because I had a real opportunity to see him. Right before he passed away he played up here at Safeco Field but I took for granted that I’d get another chance later and regrettably passed it up.
