Fresh Grabs

I have them all (bought when they came out) and really like them. I recall people complaining about the remastering mostly, and the issue with Houses that led to a repress. I'll have to re-listen to IV, but certainly don't recall it being worse than the others.
i bought the IV remaster because i thought it would be a upgrade to my place holder copy of IV which is a early club pressing with some pretty mild scratches and scuffs that i bought for $3.compared my beat up copy to the remaster and it blew it out of the water in every way possible ended up selling the remaster.if you were impressed with the IV remaster i would highly recommend you listen to a early pressing night and day difference in my opinion.

I have a 77 reissue and 76 Japanese pressing of IV, maybe I'll just save my money ;)

Clarification, when I said I had "All" the remasters, I'm talking I - III.......you know, the meat and potato's of LZ, lol. I do also have OG's of I - III, ITtOD and Houses so I was going to, in time, pick up the remasters, but again, probably money better spent elsewhere.

An RL II is still on the list though 🙂

I have an early pressing as well. I know it isn't in great shape, but don't recall exactly how beat up. I'll try to A/B them and report back. (y)

Well Im sharing a haul from yesterday and today. First up is todays:

After throwing the question out to you guys the other day I had a ton of fantastic guidance (cheers @Joe Mac @MikeH @Skalap @supahypeag @BjorgenFjorgen @Ponman2003 @Murfocakes ❤) and decided to go all in and pick up the first 3 albums by this new guy on the scene. Managed to get these at a decent price, all vinyl in vg / vg+ and all first mono pressing:

Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan (Columbia, 1962 First Mono 'Terre Haute' Pressing)
Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (CBS, 1963 First UK Mono 'Philips' Pressing)
Bob Dylan ‎– Another Side Of Bob Dylan (Columbia, 1964 First Mono Pressing)

Next up is some pick ups from yesterday. I got all of these from the SUPERB Honest Jon's in the Coal Drop Yard, London. Incredibly well priced (ended up being around half of their average on Discogs) and the Burrell/Coltrane and Davis records had a cool bonus of having some old newspaper clippings (reviews) and written info on the inners from the previous owner which are dated the year of their release (im keeping the sleeves but have housed the records in some fresh ones - dont worry!). The Box Set is a 4lp set from Prestige with cool photos and notes from Rollins on the inners.....cost me just £12!

Sidney Bechet - The Fabulous Sidney Bechet (Blue Note, 1958 First Mono Pressing - Deep Groove, RVG etc) - £7 ebay win
Kenny Burrell & John Coltrane - Kenny Burrell & John Coltrane (New Jazz, 1962 First Mono Pressing)
Miles Davis With Jimmy Forrest - Lady Bird (Jazz Showcase, 1975 First Pressing)
Sonny Rollins - The Prestige Years Vol. 1 1949-1953 (Prestige, 1981 Italian First Pressing)

My single backorder from October and single preorder from November arrived earlier in the month.

PUP - Morbid Stuff
Caroline Polachek - Pang

PUP was acquired as a reward through FIX. Not the greatest pressing, but a fun album nonetheless.
Pang sounds excellent, and I believe was given the Bernie Grundman treatment. Unique art pop, and I adore her "natural autotune" voice.

The Fiery Furnaces - Blueberry Boat
The Walkmen - You & Me

Blueberry Boat is a favorite of mine and obtained that via a gracious PIF from @scotthilk (Thanks again) the rest of these were picked up from my local store, Hi-Voltage Records. I have been really into glitchy IDM for this past week but don’t have much on my collection currently so I decided to rectify that (more to come via the mail soon) I have always enjoyed Clark and Body Riddle was his probably breakthrough album. It was a little pricy as it has never been repressed since it’s original release back in 2006. The CSS record is an album I enjoyed a great deal when it originally dropped but again not a super common album. Beck’s GameBoy Variations is an interesting reworking of some Guero-era tracks with some fun GameBoy FX. I probably listened to some of these versions more than the originals. It’s a charming little EP and completely worth the $8 they were asking for it. Bleach is the Sub Pop 20th anniversary edition. I have been upgrading my Nirvana LPs and this was there. I will say the packaging on this edition seems great. I can’t wait give it a spin. Last but not least You & Me which is probably my favorite Walkmen album overall. This one has become a little harder to find lately especially this red pressing.
