Let me know what you think of that Gabor Szabo pressing. I've had my eye on that recently.

Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou
Discotheque 73

One of the rarest Poly-Rythmo's, which is a companion compilation to that just released by Superfly and is almost as good (this delivery came from Superfly and is my last of four from them from December). And a fabulous compilation from Guinea featuring superb manding from Bembeya Jazz National and Miriam Makeba too.

Patricia Barber Impex 1-Step. Reviews on the sound quality of this have been really good. We will see but expectations r high.

The Wonder Years split color box. New band to me but the Preorder Forum talked me into this as an impulse buy.

Everclear’s on Intervention Recs reissue.

Seether 3 pack from band’s limited preorder. These albums (cds) were everywhere when they 1st came out. Call it a guilty pleasure but really looking forward to spinning them on vinyl. Minor miracle - these Seether LPs (six slabs of 180g wax) shipped by Second City were packed in a 12x12 box made out of ultra-thin cardboard and no other protection. They somehow arrived undamaged but I repackaged them to bring home the last mile. Even my mail carrier commented on how cheaply they were boxed given the weight. Pure callousness on shippers side given the cost of these.
