Behind A Love Supreme, I think Coltrane’s Sound is my next favorite Coltrane album. Some great tunes on that one.

This thing looks amazing. Mine showed up a few days ago, too, but was warped -- I could fit more than 2 nickels underneath the warped area (gasp!). Customer service was nice and will send a replacement. I will have to see how I can get the warped copy to one of these nice folks who do this de-warping or else buy one of these whatchamacallit de-warper thingies....This gorgeous piece of wax showed up a few days ago. Paid a visit last weekend to Third Man Records in Detroit and did the tour - picked up this album recorded on the first electrical recording system from 1925 (restored over a decade). It does have a different sound of course (perhaps a bit "tinny"). I'll now need to catch up and watch the PBS film:

Woke up this morning and these were listed on one of my locals FB page and I vowed that they would be mine.
Black Pumas is the European version in transparent red. That US pressed in Cream with Red and Black splatter is gorgeous but this fits the bill.
Ween is the recent Schintzel release on brown marble and comes with the album on CD.
What the hell am I gonna with play that on?

Man, that La Cucaracha press sounds so great. Definitely made me appreciate that album more than I already did, and I have a lot of love for that album.
