Yeah, been a standard fee for some years now. It used to be half that once upon a time.

I got a customs bill from Fedex for some records i bought last month from Acoustic Sounds and their fee looks to have gone up i think $4-5 more than what PostNord charges. I think DHL is cheapest of the bunch.

But it's absolutely ridiculous. 25% tax up to a certain amount, then import tax is added on top along with handling fee.

I'm not sure who decides the fees but i think i could call the tax revenue office and ask.

I'm spinning it again now. It's so good. Glad you dig it! The album has a diecut sleeve and has 4 prints behind it so you can change the album art if you want. The pressing is nice too. Good deal from the Target sale.

Yes--I'm familiar with them. They are an irish band. I really loved their debut, Becoming A Jackal. Listened to it nonstop when it came out. I've only recently revisited their other albums in the past year or so. Was reminded of them when they did a cover of The Wonder of You on the Big Little Lies soundtrack. I'd say Becoming A Jackal, Fever Dream and The Art of of Pretending To Swim are my three favorites off the top of my head. But I think there is stuff to like on all their records.

I recently picked up the 10th anniversary pressing of Becoming A Jackal too recently and that pressing is great.

Yeah, the whole release is pretty rad after checking it out a bit closer! It was nice to see most of there stuff seems to get good feedback from what I seen on discogs and from you so i'm guessing i'll probably end up with this and that 10th anniversary sooner then later haha.

Appreciate the reply/recs though! I'll give there debut a listen next along with Swim to get a bit more familiar with them before going deeper into the catalogue.

I really like them and it’s a nice album. I prefer its follow up but both are really good! It was actually @panino who introduced me to them during my Gloaming month!
