@Mr Moore, @Captainfog and@Tom (wherever he is), it was great to see you guys! Thanks for this afternoon of beers, records, fishes and chips! @Selaws hope you're now all good. @all, you're invited to a Parisian records store trip whenever you want.
August and Everything After <3
(What color is it out of curiosity? I saw Recovering the Satellites at a FYE about a week ago with that same sticker but passed because I already had a standard black pressing)
August and Everything After has one of my favorite first lines of lyrics in an album, especially for a band’s debut. It’s the orange translucent. If that Recovering the Satellites had that sticker, it was most likely translucent green.
Good sound and great album. Still want an AP pressing.

I figured it'd be some hue of orangeish-yellow. Anything else would be kind of weird! It’s the orange translucent. If that Recovering the Satellites had that sticker, it was most likely translucent green.

Analog Productions really just need to get the rights to press This Desert Life and I’ll be happier than ever.I figured it'd be some hue of orangeish-yellow. Anything else would be kind of weird!
I might have to splurge for the 45RPM version one day too. My pressing is fine enough but could be better.
Yes!!! This Desert Life desperately needs a repress... their first two are widely available and I don't see why they would stop there.Analog Productions really just need to get the rights to press This Desert Life and I’ll be happier than ever.
EDIT: and add Nate Ruess’s full rendition of A Long December....
Hard Candy would be amazing. I forgot where I read a couple years ago about the label trouble they had but, it’s put a damper on any kind of reissue of TDL.Yes!!! This Desert Life desperately needs a repress... their first two are widely available and I don't see why they would stop there.
And Hard Candy never got pressed to begin with! Definitely a missed opportunity waiting to be rectified!
I lived in Peoria, IL for a couple years which coincided with the release of this album. Since they were from Peoria it was quite a thing. It was the biggest music artist to “make it” from Peoria since Dan Fogelberg.
I recognize Sunny Side Up there. If you were looking for We Out Here: Too late, I snitched the last copy from Rough Trade. Sister Ray, Sounds Of The Universe and Phonica were already OOS
As super annoyed as I am to have missed out on hanging out with you guys, I think my wallet is all the better for it (although I was charged £36 for a dental appointment which is outrageous!!!)So I spent 4 days in London...
