Ha, it's cool man, sorry if my tone was misunderstood. I was just bluntly stating that I wasn't saying he didn't have a right to do it, just that he could have actually responded in a mature way and I would have respected it.

I won't argue about character as every individual person has to set their own limits of what they want to tolerate. But saying Illmatic is the only good album he has made is just straight slander.

Disrespecting the pioneers by advancing the genre and exploring new realms of artistry? So I guess NWA, Cash Money, Three 6 Mafia, Kanye West were disrespectful to hip hop because they weren’t all rapping about eating moldy chicken at a friends house or about wearing Polo and timbs years after it went out of style.

That’s a solid verse. Reminder that “mumble rap” isn’t a real thing. Just something lazy, ignorant old heads use to dismiss how out of touch they are with contemporary music.

i'm a fan of all the artist you mentioned except kanye but will give him credit with his earlier albums not his last four albums where he thinks he is so experimental & ground breaking.mumble rappers continuously disrespecting the pioneers by pushing the narrative that '80s & '90s Rap/Hip Hop is whack 2Pac was boring etc..i'm all for the progression of Hip Hop but in my opinion trap/mumble is the regression of it.this mumble rap debate is old already we will just just have to agree to disagree mumble rap is steaming hot garbage in my opinion.
