Well so far I’m really digging Oddisee - the iceberg. Thanks for the heads up.Quelle Chris - can't pick a favorite. Everything is Fine w/ Jean Grae is fantastic, but Shotgun and Sleek Rifle is also one I play a lot. I like most of his albums
Denmark Vessey - Martin Lucid Dream
Nolan the Ninja - his new album Sportee is great. Yen and He(art) were the ones that got me hooked
Black Thought - Streams of Thought Vol. 1 is short, but it's heat.
Clear Soul Forces - new album Still is good
Blu and Exile - Below the Heavens is a classic and most people would probably recommend this one. I really like Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them and recommend it.
Oddisee - People Hear What They See

Afaik, only one store in my city got copies.. only a few and it was my last stop of the day so they were long gone .. someone gave me the impression that Montreal got a bunch of them but they were sold out before i could get my hands on any there..
Damn.
And spending a zillion dollars on discogs isnt a realistic option.
I did hear that soon theyll release proper packaged vinyl for that album (not the white covers) and this was but a taste for the most dedicated.
Shouldnt have to wait long
I need to get the EP now.. I think thats like 100 USD
I really hope so.. I'd love to get it on wax but wasn't it sold as a RSD-only release? I can hope though... Also, what EP are you talking about?
If I had the loot, I'd try and scoop one of these:
Bone Enterpri$e - Faces Of Death

I dunno why no one has thought to repress Luniz - Operation Stackola
Am I like the only one who thought the entire album was basically 9/10 and had "legendary" status.
Maybe cause I grew up with it on repeat I am more fond of it then the average bear.
But still surely some other people must love this album?!?!?
This is a dope album. Yukmouth also has a few good solo ones IIRC
Tbh it's been a real long time since I've listened so I can only say that a younger me enjoyed a bit of Yukmouth solo. he does have a few songs with Tech N9ne on that Godzilla projectI do like all luniz (the new stuff is a bit meh)
Solo stuff I never even checked out. But if your telling me right now its as good as Luniz then hell yeah i will peep it

Tech n9ne and yuk are apart of some hiphop collective/crew that I cant remember the name off
But I dont believe anything real came out of it.
I just remember tech n9ne always talking about it back in the day.
The Regime.
Everything I’ve heard from today is delivered pretty hard so far, gonna throw a link up here for Slowthai so it’s not lost amongst the hype, UK hip hop shit, maybe a bit more hit and miss than some of the other stuff today but completely worth a listen; when it’s good, it’s really fucking good
For anyone who likes this there's 15 copies of the blue and 50 copies of the red vinyl left in his store:https://shop.slowthai.com/collections/all
