Anyone own either of these (or even one)? Trying to figure out if its worth grabbing.

I know we're supposed to separate the art from the artist but his creepy exploitation of young men makes it very hard for me to listen to his music anymore.

I'm re-listening top Malibu Ken right now. My un-original opinion stands from earlier this year. It's excellent.

I love the current proliferation of Boom Bap / Coke Rap but it's nice to return to something artistic in a very different way

Yea he gets the R Kelly treatment. No separation here

I haven’t liked an Aesop Rock project in years but damn Tobacco makes him sound really nice

By extension, I kinda have a hard time listening to KRS for defending Bambaataa .. Mind you that's a lot easier cause KRS hasn't made a good record in like 25 years but still.

I heart KRS but after BDP. I didn't really care.

Man, Return Of The Boom Bap and KRS-One are great records. I Got Next has joints too but everything past that gets the gas face.

I should go back and listen to those. I remember when sound of the police came out and this guy I hated was super into it... I think that's why it was always tainted
