Yes both Atmosphere and Aesop’s sound wears thin on me. Both are very talented and I definitely went through a whole Slug, Eyedea & Abilities,
Dose One, Rhymesayers, etc. phase back in the day but the last project I dug from that crew was You Can’t Imagine How Much Fun Were Having.
Love Ant’s production on that one
As a Chicago guy, I do have to say it was really cool seeing that collective of hip hop heads come out of the Midwest and put Minnesota on the map. Always thought that was super dope that they made it
Honestly, nothing against Aesop but i've been listening to him since Music For Earthworms dropped 21 years ago or whatever. After a while it just became way too samey for me. I'm sure he still has standout joints and whatnot but I just feel no urge to check anything he does anymore. Ditto for Atmosphere / Slug and a bunch of others too.
i think that too many recorders youtuber guy is talking bout you in his recent vid @Clint Howard
Hey, at least it's still cheaper than most Mach Hommy records. So he just received test presses for an album that was supposedly already shipping like a month ago? Looks like I was dead right about this dude.
Oooooh I'm famous! What makes you say that?
He talked about 1 specific guy aggressively saying his most loved record is a bootleg lol who else could that be hahha
Strange that he wouldn't address it on the forums but I guess he just doesn't want to acknowledge its a boot?
tmr is lame always wondered why @Believer101 always brings him up.
