I knew this native american guy who use to literally cringe when he heard an aussie say it (so he cringed alot).. it was like his ears went through a painful process when he heard the word.. he reckons americans find that word absolutely repulsive and I wouldve thought he was talking shit if I didnt see his painful expression every few minutes haah
