I understand he has done many great things for his community, which he should be applauded for. But that doesn't give a pass for criticism towards his music. He made a bad album. People are gonna say some far off shit about his character which isn't warranted but thats the internet at the end of the day.The internet bandwagon of tearing this dude down over a subpar album is wack as fuck to me.
The dude bought backpacks stuffed with back to school supplies for an entire neighborhood of kids here in Chicago.
Donated $1 a million to help save a closing school here.
His charity has done a ton of work to help keep the arts in underserved communities including buying venues and safe places for kids to perform poetry, rap, etc.
Purchased the the Chicagoist which was an amazing local news outlet that gave real neighborhood news after the rich Republican that owned it shut it down for its workers trying to unionize.
Constantly kept the Laquan McDonald murder police coverup in the limelight and put pressure on our mayor by helping with the protests.
The list can go on and on so all of these trolls spewing all that vile shit about him and his family all over his social media should fuck off and put that energy towards harassing the bastards in this country that deserve it.
I’ll get off of my soapbox now.
This album is really bad. Like really bad. I really liked Acid Rap and Colouring Book but this doesnt even touch the lows of either of those mixtapes.
