I'm behind, I still haven't listened to the De La episode, but I might listen to this A Prince Among Thieves episode first...
speaking of, my VMP RHH copy of A Prince Among Thieves arrived today. I didn't open it but even looking at it sealed they did a really nice job with the jacket.

I recently got the Back at the House repress and I think it's a little bit better in terms of sound compared to the first pressing. I'll replay through the day and check it out again.

Yep, dead wax seems the same. I'm playing the first now and I'll play the second pressing later at night to check it out. Both do sound great though.

But for real, that price is ridiculous, especially for me who doesn't jump on any of these other ones posted on this thread. I did just buy myself a copy though based on the fact that I'm near his home town, and he was running around with a lot of the other Milwaukee hip hop artists in small clubs around here before he went and moved and changed his name. He seems to be going through some financial issues at the.moment and I don't mind helping him out a bit. On top of that it's one of my favorites of the year and much cheaper than the rest of his records at this point. I'll be on a vinyl diet anyways for awhile after a couple big purchases today.
