Hip Hop

It's funny you say this.

A guy I know who owns like 8 copies of every daupe release reckons he uses his iphone to get all the drops and its easy and never misses out.
So I am starting to think maybe there is something in this.
Maybe on phone it reserves carts due to the instability of mobile internet? That + faster checkout? Damn.
When I bought Hitler 7 my internet on my phone went out for about 30 seconds, I was in really bad traffic in a dead zone, and somehow I still was able to get it. Always felt like I have a better chance with the phone over the pc since then

I do remember HWH7 being available for like 20-25 minutes though. Obviously not the OBIs or splatters, but the solid colored variants.

Oh guess that makes sense why it worked out. Drops have been so bad lately I don't remember what it was like to not have everything gone in the first minute

Flippers, scalpers, whatever you want to call them, get absolutely zero sympathy from me. And it appears that the hip-hop releases are where it has been getting hit the worst. Which, when you're already selling less than 100 copies of a release for over $100, it's bound to happen. Just sucks that it's became an accepted part of collecting vinyl.

Happy that ALC and now TK has caught on to the bot scam and handled it properly to allow the fans a real shot

Karma is a bitch. I hope that guy gets a ton of orders before realizing he ain't getting SHAT so his buyers report his ass

I'm not going to knock a hustle, and I don't totally agree with the need for a 1 copy limit always being mandatory on all releases -- 2 seems fair to me, especially on black, with how crazy these EU shipping prices are and the fact that a lot of folks are getting an extra to either help someone else out or to trade for a completely different drop they are inevitably shafted on -- but the bots get me. At least, wake up and refresh like a dumbass, clicking the wrong shit while frozen with adrenaline like the rest of us. Don't use skynet to scoop up half the fucking copies.
