I used to try and grab the Daupe drops a while back. I scooped up the HWH1 and Westsidedoom. The Reject On Steroids cassette. A few things. Then, around the time of GOAT, I noticed they were only reselling for about $60 or $70 on ebay anyway and I don't even think there was tax on ebay at the time. Daupe was also doing wack shit like charging me crazy shipping on each individual item. Even if I snagged two LPs in the same order, they'd ship them separately with full price shipping. Plus, they were packing everything like trash. It didn't make sense to deal with it anymore. Why stress on a drop and risk it showing up bent, when you could scoop it on the secondary market for, pretty much, the same price? That's when I kind of stopped. I probably would have grabbed HWH7, if I knew it was that easy.

The prices obviously jumped up since then, so it' sounds like it's probably worth it now. At the time though, a $60 ebay purchase made more sense to me.

Yeah, but buying one now, at least you know you're getting it cheaper than the secondary market. There was a time where I wasn't. It felt pointless.

De Rap Winkel also seems pretty cool to me. I've messaged with the guy and he's fairly up front about things

No i think you're right. I think there was just some confusion because you were referring to the 1st POTIC drop rather than today's TK release. I don't know if ALC does his covers but he clearly has an aesthetic he's been going for

y - the Euro people have been pretty easy to deal with
The FXCK RXP guy always responds to messages. Bas responds and the Copenhagen Crates person has been cool too. I haven't really had any issues to sort out. DRW combined shipping for me on a recent order but they haven't refunded me one of the shipping charges yet, but other than that I've found them to be responsive when I have a question.
