I think they have burst of good content through Load, Reload and Death Magnetic.

Also most of St.Anger is pretty good once you get ignore the horrible snare sound and sometimes terrible writing.

Death Magnetic has great songs. All Nightmare Long is a highlight. That being said it's mixed waaaayy to loud.

Grunge is universally terrible (I like Pumpkins and Nirvana but people tell me they’re not grunge so yeah all the rest is trash).

Pumpkins ain't Grunge my Irish friend. It's alt. Actually I think Nirvana is barely grunge.

Post rock is the best genre in the entire music industry

That's why I created this thread to keep a contained area for respectful discussions of very strong opinions. I think it can be really fun seeing people's strong takes and hills they die on.

Completely agree but her experimental stuff is awful and her screaming shit is horrible. She didn't break up the Beatles and needs to stop being blamed for it. She comes across as extremely pretentious and using Lennon's blood stained glasses for an album cover was trashy as fuck. Shit she gets for that I feel is warranted

You're welcome. I enjoy robust yet respectful musical debate. I will say Pulp, Blur and Oasis are the only good Britpop acts imo.
Jack White is good but I agree people put him on such a high pedestal. Then again, he's one of the precious few of mainstream rock that isn't stagnant and complacent.

The inverse is not close to the equivalent and is much worse. Of course Sublime had a radio hit with Wrong Way, so we already know folks are cool with it.
