So sandbag/Waste have been ghosting me for weeks now after I asked for an update on the replacement discs they offered me. For those of you that ordered the Scary Book from the UK site and asked for a Kid A replacement disc, which email address have you been using?

Didn’t they do the same for you as the rest of us and send that email saying “We can’t hear it, it doesn’t exist lalalalalalala”?

I had a little bit of a back and forth with them around that and they weren’t bending and so I gave up. They were pretty emphatic that they would not be ordering a repress and replacing discs, irregardless of their earlier responses.

My situation was a little bit different in that I asked for replacements of disc 2 and 3, and they offered to ship them as soon as possible. Then after seeing you guys get your replacement disc offers reneged upon I reached out to get a status update on my replacements and I have heard nothing back. It’s been at least a month of no reply whatsoever. I also forwarded the email thread to helpdesk@sandbaguk.com to open a new ticket just in case my replies were going to an agent that doesn’t work there anymore or something but I haven’t received a response from that address either.

Not pleased with the customer service one bit. I guess I have to try to get a refund through my CC or something. How can they just not reply at all?

Same thing happened to me. They said I would be getting replacements but then 2 days later emailed saying "actually nah...there's nothing wrong with the discs", offered for me to send back the box (I think they said I had to pay for postage myself) and they have ghosted me ever since. It's too late to get money back from my CC I think too. So frustrating.
 
Just found a replacement copy of Kid A Mnesia in my mailbox. I haven't opened it yet to test How to Disappear yet, but I'll report back.

It still has a little bit of crackle near the end of HTDC, but it seems a bit better than before (my other copy had it during the louder parts of the song).

Is it a replacement copy from the Scarry Book edition or a different version. I just got a replacement Scarry Book but not with the vinyl inside. Just the book. No tracking or email was sent saying this was arriving.
