Well now I'm hoping it does come out that day so you get new Radiohead-adjacent music for your birthday 🤗 it's hard to say how legit these leaked details are for sure, but that album cover/title/date certainly seem like they could be the real deal. Either way I'm excited... I've still only listened to the first two singles they put out so a lot of the album will be new to me!
 
So I just did a back-to-back-to-back-to-back listen of HTDC on my two regular copies of Kid Amnesiac, Scarry book, and 2008 Capitol 10”……

Capitol wins easily. The distortion vs lack thereof was incredibly noticeable, and the remastering difference wasn’t actually very noticeable at all. Plenty happy to return all the others now. What a mess, especially after OKNOTOK sounded so great (IMO) 👎🏻🤦🏼‍♂️
 
Just got back from Half-Price Books. They have a copy of the In Rainbows box set for $135. Not sure about the quality but if someone was interested in the U.S., I could inquire further. With the explosion of vinyl prices, $135 seems okay. Would be about $160 with tax and shipping I'd imagine.

$26 Is a pretty fair representation of what it costs to ship a record transatlantic. $9 seems about right local.
 
I’m looking for the best sounding Kid A and Amnesiac. I know the response will be parlaphone, but prices are going to the moon. After the OG parlaphone, what’s the next best sounding version?

Have the red kid a mnesia, I’d like a copy without its issues.

For Amnesiac there is a weird one with XL sleeves and Parlophone discs. It sounds really good.

For Kid A it really is OG Parlophone or bust in afraid. There were two initial presses. The UK one that is LPKIDA1 that is very expensive or the EU one with the longer catalogue number that is just standard expensive.

I saw this used at my local a couple years ago. Wish I would've grabbed it, even though Amnesiac isn't exactly one of my favorites.

Only thing is good luck actually getting that version of Amnesiac off of cogs. I guarantee you that most if not all of those listings under that variant are wrong.
