Immerse Your Soul In Love - The Radiohead Thread

No one could ever, it was always a rumour and suspicion because the pressing quality reports were all over the place it was very difficult to tell who on Earth pressed it. As a result the advice has always been to go for the EU ones because it was known that optimal pressed them!

Glad you got it and that it sounds good to you, also that you got an OKNOTOK because that third disc with B Sides and lost tracks is every bit as strong as the main album.
It is listed as optimal, however I don't know how the discogs editors determined that.

Can't wait to get to disc 3!

So yep that was definitely well worth a cut of the Frank Ocean proceeds, and then some! Sounds epic, second best Radiohead press I have after In Rainbows Diskbox! Badly needs a wash after 20+ years in cardboard sleeves though, I need more of my cogs buys to turn up so I can fill the spin clean!

Anyone involved in the "what the hell version of Ok Computer did I buy?" conversation.

It is this one:

Radiohead - OK Computer OKNOTOK 1997 2017

@Joe Mac I can't find any signs that Rainbo had anything to do with this according to the run-outs.

Listening now and it's very quiet and dynamic. May not be the best version out there, however I'm very happy.
I sprung for the deluxe OKNOTOK box when it was released, and it looks like the runouts are the same as yours. I think it sounds wonderful... I'd probably have to upgrade my gear to detect any issues.

I have that too! It has the standard EU presses from optimal in it! It’s really good, not quite as good as the Parlophone pressing but not as far off as you might think either and Disc 3 is brilliant plus it is such a lovely package!

That's great! I see there's a few from Germany that aren't horribly expensive; one is just under $50 shipped to the USA.

My wife and I like to watch a show or two at night on our Apple TV and then finish that up with a "palette cleanse" which is normally some mindless YouTube viewing. A series we've been really into lately is Vox's Earworm videos where journalist Estelle Caswell takes a deep dive into stories and sounds behind songs or music genres. I figured I'd share this one here since I found it really interesting. I was never that into Videotape but this has inspired me to give it a closer listen this week.

So it seems that there's still apparently some debate over the lyrics to the chorus of "Idioteque"? I always assumed it was "here I'm allowed everything all of the time"
