Exactly. Why pack your bags when you can defect as a state? Join the Maritimes!I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE
I'm already in Maine which is basically Canada anyways, when should I pack my bags?
Nova Nova Scotia? New New Brunswick?Exactly. Why pack your bags when you can defect as a state? Join the Maritimes!![]()
That was the exact unit that was trying to find up here but prices were just too high so I bailed on it for now. Awesome unit though, I think you'll love it.I try not to hang out in this forum very often.. But, I just took the plunge and ordered a replacement for my well loved (and still playing/looking like new) 35 yr old Audio Research LS15 preamp. Found a demo AR LS28SE (advertised as pristine
) with under 500 hrs on it from an authorized dealer.
Late night internet scrolling did me in. Photo once it is up running. If this goes well I will not need another one until my 100th birthday.
Plan to send my old one in to AR for a check up and a new set of tubes as they still service them.
The most beautiful and beguiling midrange I’ve heard in my system ever was an Audio Research SP-3A in about 1990. I had it on a three day loan and together with my Spica Angelus speakers it made voices sound ungodly awesome. Treble was not extended and the bass was about as muddy as can be or I would have kept it. I hope your experience with your new piece is as ear opening as mine was.I try not to hang out in this forum very often.. That reminds me of a statement my daughter made when we were all having dinner.Guys I'm really sorry about that sign they made, it was inappropriate. So I asked them to fix it...

I'm not sure they understood WHICH part was inappropriate.
That's amazing. Your daughter is an agent of chaos. I approve. That reminds me of a statement my daughter made when we were all having dinner.
Daughter: “We just need to eliminate the old people.”
Wife & I: “What?”
Daughter: “Sorry, I meant we need to eliminate the elderly.”
Wife & I: “That wasn’t the word we were focusing on!”
How does she think I should be eliminated? That reminds me of a statement my daughter made when we were all having dinner.
