Right wall is drywall, I think insulated (was there before I arrived).

Back and left and right walls: wood planks. Insulation underneath.

Floor is vinyl flooring planks, over dry core interlock over concrete. Ceiling is drywall and sound insulating Rockwool.
Hard to distinguish from here but how would the system look in the wood plank room?

I truly think speaker placement is going to do more than room treatments.
I mean if you have tile everywhere with mirrored ceilings, there's probably no help speaker placement can add. You're better to just start with a different room.

Otherwise a rug, some blankets over leather chairs, curtains, etc.. are going to look nice and get you most of the way there for 2 channel.
Darko has a few videos going over this with his Lisbon place. In a nutshell, a couch and rug do t do much.

I'll have to check it out.
Not too familiar with the channel.

I was watching a guy's video on absolute sound the other day and he was worried about the studs in the wall. He bought some audiophile voodoo to attach to them. I turned off YouTube for a week after that.

There is definitely plenty of stuff out there to not spend your money on.

Aren’t those Klipsch front ported though? That should definitely help with the wall being behind them.
The Fortes are not ported, they have a rear-firing 15” passive radiator. The Cornwalls don’t have this radiator, hence their name (they can be positioned right against a Corner or Wall).

@Mather the Fortes are designed to be positioned somewhat near a rear wall (8”-16”) for bass reinforcement so they should not have major issues in that space.

Yeah that was my thoughts too. I think the only place I may run into issues is the left speaker. There's a concrete hearth that runs diagonally in front of the fireplace which limits placement a bit, but also it's a fireplace, not a solid wall.

I have a sub so I'm not super concerned but I'm wondering whether I find a way to block the fireplace opening with something. I just can't think of what would A. Work. And B. Look good.
