It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

It's crazy how shit our front office is....we were also in for Tel but somehow, even with a guaranteed spot up top in our lineup, we still can't lock him in and now he's in at Spurs to help them their relegation battle (or the quadruple depending on who you ask)
Tel is absolutely a lock to start every game for the rest of the season. If the only reason to move was playing time, Spurs would be the pick over United.

Right now we don't have a healthy right winger so he probably plays there. He can also relieve Richy so we don't run him into the ground again until Solanke comes back. He can relieve Son as well so our only other LW option isn't a child.

He would of started almost every match at RW or striker for us (Arsenal not United) til the end of the season which is why I am lost! Saka and Jesus are out for the year. Havertz has been mediocre up top, we have an 18 year old at RW and a 17 year old at RB/LB until Ben White returns (albeit they've been incredible in their times filling in, expecially yesterday)

And I mean he’s have started every game up front for us because we’re shocking up top right now!

Just two 17/18 year olds? Rookie numbers.

Side note: 17 year old Ethan Nwaneri was brilliant in his start Wednesday in place of Saka.....Even tho we still need someone to come in, because him being great for 3 months (or more probably) is a big ask for a 17 year old especially when we have CL knockout rounds coming soon, I am genuinely impressed with him.

Also Myles Lewis-Skelly is rumored to be getting a contract offer from Arsenal and will be invited to England National Team duty for 2026 WC (i assume as a backup for Lewis Hall). Our academy is thriving!

2026 is a long long way away to be making those sort of predictions!

Alright now! LOL You all started 1 yesterday and brought on one, same as us! Difference is both of ours scored haha
Mikey Moore and Archie Gray started, 17 and 18 respectively. Bergvall (19) and Scarlett (20) came on as subs. That was probably the best we've had in ages.

U-23s to include Saliba, Timber, Saka, Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly, and Martinelli

I like our odds !!
Forgot Marquinhos and Hein at keeper
Kinsky; Udogie-VdV-Dragusin-Vuskovic;Bergvall-Sarr-Gray; Odobert-Tel-Johnson
Damn! It would be a battle! A fun one too

Our front 3 would be Martinelli Saka Marquinhos so no idea who'd play center since we sold young Balogun loll

Also no idea who in our academy would play next to Saliba since we just sold Ayden Heaven to United, but Timber Saliba, Lewis-Skelly is a solid start

Nwaneri Sagoe Jr. and Charlie Patino for the midfield
