It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Me when players reject Spurs: Donkeys, what do they know about loyalty?!
Me when a Danso rejects Wolves at the last minute for Spurs: Wow, perfect, love him and cherish him. A man of great integity.

That’s our competition really. Hijacking fellow relegation candidates players. Tel/Tomori won’t come here from Champions League level clubs. Lens do alright but we can probably at least triple his wages.

The prospect of a back four against Liverpool of Spence-Micky-Danso-Porro brings a tear to my eye

I like Radu but he’s been really poor (probably due to fatigue and age really). It’ll be nice to have another option even when he’s healthy.

Some thoughts on yesterday:

Myles Lewis-Skelly is going to be massive in 2 to 3 years. Yesterday was a glimpse. Hitting the Haaland celebration after Haaland said "who the F*$% are you" during the infamous "Stay humble, eh" moment. Also great to see Nwaneri score!

Also Gabriel saying HAHA in Haaland's face wasn't as good as Haaland hitting him in the back of the head with the ball, but it was still funny despite Gary Neville's dumb hypocrite remarks"

Gary Neville on Haaland throwing the ball at the back of Gabriel's head before running off when celebrating a last minute equaliser:"Me and Carra laughed when we saw it because it’s funny (he did say it could have been a red card).

"Neville on Gabriel shouting in Haaland's face after an Arsenal goal: "I think it's a bit disrespectful. I just didn't like that, it made me feel a little bit uneasy, it was a little bit disrespectful.

At the end of the day, it looks like we found some rhythm and if we can ride that into Wednesday and play the same as we did yesterday, we can turn it around on Newcastle but that is a BIG IF.

Erling Humbled, 5 to 1 beat down, no red cards this go around, and both our teens scored....HANG IT IN THE HALE END!
