There must be millions of people each day who have to continue their job when a colleague is taken sick, collapses or worse. Why those footballers who have resources for trauma counselling at their fingertips should be treat any different is beyond me especially given they'd seen their colleague taken from the pitch in a stable condition.
Broadcasters often seem to be the scapegoat for people realising after the fact that they used poor judgment not using their own ability to stop watching. What occurred obviously became a news event and it was dutiful of the BBC and others to make a record of it, but news isn't always pretty and we can all use our own fade to black button when we don't want to watch.
