It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Spurs haven’t been great but they always look dangerous on the break. Surprised they are playing so much football so deep too, seems like they are inviting more and more pressure. A combination of Lloris and wild finishing, again, is screwing us again.

story of the season so far. It always looks so nervy, we're our own worst enemy with the pressure. Lots of low xG chances, but it's still stressful to watch.

Yeah it just seems weird tonight we’re pressing high and Kane to Son or Perisic on the break has been where you’ve looked direct. I get playing out is great as the main principle but it’s got to be more play the game that’s in front of you and go over the press a bit and mix it up.

And yet for all of that, and I’ve still not seen a game where I’ve watched you that you have played well, it’s Spurs’ best ever start to a PL season.

United definitely look the stronger squad over the first 40 minutes. I feel like the easily could be up 1 or 2 goals

It's really been a strange season

Rashford should have scored that chance. I still think Antony gets one in the second half, he's been trying 3 times with a long range shot this half

It’s kinda what you get with Conte though and it’s better to be solid, dangerous on the break and win playing awful than to play well and lose.

Yeah he went for power over placement. A bit off it and in the corner and it’s a goal.

He was unlikely with the one that clipped the outside of the post but I think you’ve learned. Davies and Perisic are flooding the inside and giving him a free go on the outside. He keeps passing it inside. As he gets older he really needs to learn to go both ways.
