In the league cup they miss the first round. Or first two if in Europe. In the FA Cup they all miss the first two rounds. After that it’s an open draw. It’s good, it creates stories and levels the field a bit because let’s face it everything in the sport is biased in favour of the big guns. If you look at the winners since 1990 it’s hardly harmed the big teams either.

Honestly none of the “big” teams that dropped look great. Plus if we want to win it we’ve got to back ourselves against anyone. Sporting are one I would rather avoid tbh.
