The city player is too far away, can’t get to it and Ederson can’t either. It he could he also could have smothered Fernandes because the ball had traveled further by then. Fernandes had the space to take on curler rather than having to be rushed.

I’m going to be honest. I don’t like this law, but that’s the way refs are told to interpret it. The ref they have on the tele said much the same, doesn’t like the law but as it stands has to be a goal.

I’m a spurs fan until full time in the mid week games 😉.

If they can do us a couple of favours next Sunday will be a cracker. And we’ll have to be better than last time because you were really unlucky at OT, especially for the disallowed Martinelli goal, that was one genuinely bad decision I’ll admit to us benefiting from!
