So Klein, the GM of LA Galaxy, along with the previous coaching team, got caught falsifying the details of a contract. The fine was 1M in General Allocation Money, fictional money allowed to keep a salary under the cap and a ban from international transfers in the summer window. His contract was up this January, but it got renewed. Not the supports groups are gonna boycott the games until he’s fired. I think they were sold last year for the three years starting last September. But one of the streaming giants was always going to seriously enter the market eventually, so far it’s just been Amazon Prime doing 20 games over 2 December match days. Be interesting to see if it drives down the cost for the customer or just makes it more and more expensive like the last 30 years of sky, and last 15 of sky + 1, have.
