It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Yesterday was a nadir but West Ham having two goalkeepers is still the worst call for me. The other two were fuck ups. Inexcusable but equally it’s just that someone fucked up. That was such a clear penalty and two referees looked at it and managed to say no. The mind boggles.
I'm not saying Arsenal not getting the call makes the league more exciting but.....also wouldn't be surprised if Leeds get some wild call go their way in the 2nd half that influences the result

I mean it’s bell end road. I don’t expect anything coming out of there other than pretty feral abuse. Stand up to it and nick a win is always the order of the day over there.

Even less convinced with Weghorst with every passing minute. Movement is nowhere near good enough and doesn’t stretch the opposition.

Well that came out of nothing just as we’d been having a scrappy spell.

Rashford again and great to see a header from between the sticks again. He’s getting proper strikers goals now!

I still think he was, but United are clearly a better side. If Leeds start losing against relegation rivals like they did vs Forest last weekend then maybe.

I think regardless of coaching competancy when you start rattling on about feeling the pressure you’re gone. Same as the Southampton manager, when you prattle on with some of the shit he’s been talking over the last week and then lose against 10 you’re fucked. Also, if American coaches want to succeed in Britain they’ve got to figure out a way to adapt because super positive American stuff is going to get you laughed out of town unless you’re winning everything.

Yeah.. I don’t think Marsch is a good manager, don’t care that he’s American. He had no tactics other than just continuing what Bielsa did to a lesser extent.

Hey @Jonathan Y jusy watching a doc on Liam Brady that was done by tv over there. It’s brilliant. You should check it out if you get a chance. He was a superstar, definitely all time Irish top 3 and maybe an Arsenal all time top 5, certainly top 10.
