So I just read a story/found out about Bruno's Magpies aka Magpies FCB. This really is the most amazing sport on earth. They lost in their Europa conference league match the other day but still a dope story

In 2013 a teenager from the UK set up a team in Gibraltar as he couldn't find anywhere to play. Next month they will play European football in Northern Ireland thanks to an unlikely rise from their origins in a bar called Bruno's.

Sorry! Mad weekend! Only just seen the score! In the grand scheme of things it is still only a fitness and team shape/pattern exercise. We will see come august.

Not gonna lie, I’d love the chance to play against a pro side with my Sunday league team. I don’t think we’d concede fewer than 27, though!

I can’t see the Saudi team paying that to let him go to Madrid for free, like he currently can, next year. Madrid absolutely won’t pay that fee to get him either. PSG also won’t bench him for the year, he’s too valuable in a sporting sense and he’s on too much money, it’s all posturing right now.

The real interesting one would be if one of the Premier League teams circled believing they could make the fee back in marketing terms. Then both him and PSG might bite.
