Yeah width is so important in the game. It’s how you create space and everyone for spurs wanted to either play through the middle or cut/run inside to the middle. You have to make the pitch huge when the opposition is down to 10. Make them move from side to side and grind their legs down.

I can’t spell his name, but the Swedish winger was so so poor. Played right into Liverpool’s hands time and time again.
 
I’m kind of surprised there isn’t more consternation at what happened. It’s pretty much the worst mistake VAR have ever made by a distance. Partisan rivalry apart, and I’ve plenty more hatred for them than the rest of you combined, that’s just outrageous and the statement the refs body put out just doesn’t cut it.

Shocking mistake.... how could they not realise the goal had been disallowed on field .. unbelievable Geoff

And on replay at full speed he’s so clearly well onside to the naked eye that prior to VAR we’d still be hammering the linesman for flagging offside.

PGMOL needs to be dissolved. Referees aren’t capable of regulating themselves, they circle the wagons. A new body with ex players and managers on the board as well as referees is badly needed.

Yep. I watched that live and couldn’t believe it wasn’t overturned..also Jota’s first yellow should have been rescinded ..he never touched him....the second yellow was bloody stupid though

Just checked EFL championship standings...My predictions are decent so far. Leciester and Ipswich up top. Southampton is struggling a bit but they'll rebound

Imagine tho...Ipswich, Leicester, and Sunderland get promoted and Bournemouth, Burnley, and Sheffield go down....What a top flight that would be! The Pedigree......Just need Sheffield Wednesday to figure it out soon!
