Plus they're finalizing "season" 3 of Sunderland til I die...if they make it back it may be cause for them to delay the 2 episode promotion to EFL championship which is currently the plans they have for "season" 3, and make it a full fledged celebration of them getting back to the PL instead

this is making me think what the heck is Welcome to Wrexham going to be about if Wrexham spend the next 5+ years stuck in League Two? They probably won't be stuck that long, but I'd be shocked if the show keeps going at the same pace without any "new content" to show in subsequent seasons.

I thought about it too. I guess as long as they're in a tight battle near the top At the end of this season it'll make for a good tv regardless of the outcome.

It will naturally have a shelf life because two Hollywood pals twating about in North Wales has a definite ability to eventually eat itself. Plus a town like Wrexham has a limit to how high a club it’s supports can rise.
