I'd imagine Kronke's issue is more that FIFA takes control of the suites and entire stadium for the match. If I had a billion dollar stadium where I answer to suite holders who might be a little pissed that they're forced out for some douche from the Gulf countries, I'd be a little leery of that as well. He's obviously not the whore Jerry Jones is.

I don’t think that stadium has any problems at all in meeting the requirements for a FIFA stadium. It’s all about two unsavoury characters having an a pissing contest over $$$$$. I hate the American super capitalist as much as anyone but Putin and Qatar’s whore is infinitely worse.

I saw that it was more that they’d have to widen the pitch and that they’d have to move the stands back a little bit to make it work. Although, haven’t they had soccer matches there previously?

Football pitches don’t have a fixed width or length. There is a maximum and minimum for both. For example OT is maximum width but somewhere in middle for length. Anfield is quite a small pitch with stands on top of it and Wembley is the maximum dimensions in both directions.

It’s possible. I’ve only seen the Era’s Tour there. In the theater. But if there are changes needed to be made, then just make them.
